Have you tried sake? Many are unfamiliar with the Japanese rice wine, or how to make cocktails with it, so I’m sharing three of my favorites today all using delicious TYKU Sakes. All are clean, refreshing, and are perfect to celebrate the new year with!

The Skinny Sake

3 oz Cucumber Junmai TYKU Sake
2 oz Ginger Lemon Health-Ade
1 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Honey or agave
Slice of cucumber for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with a scoop of ice. Shake for 15 seconds. Strain the mixture into a serving glass filled with ice. Garnish with a cucumber slice.

The Sake Smash

2-3 Blackberries
2-3 Mint leaves
1/2 oz Simple syrup
2 oz Tyku Junmai Sake
2 oz Pomegranate Health-Ade

In a cocktail glass, muddle your blackberries and mint with your simple syrup. Pour in TYKU and a scoop of ice and stir well. Top with Health-Ade and garnish with extra mint + blackberries.

The Sake Rose

2 oz TYKU Junmai Ginjo Sake
2 oz Cranberry juice
2 oz Berry Health-Ade Frozen
Cranberries for garnish

Combine sake, cranberry juice, and Health-Ade in a shaker. Top with a generous scoop of ice. Shake for about 30 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with fresh or frozen cranberries.
