Rolling Greens Succulent Arrangement Bar

I do not keep plants alive. It’s a confession. As much as I pride myself in hosting and keeping house, plants are not my forte. I love them so much, but unfortunately there is something a bit too scattered in me to remember to love them properly. A bit back, I got invited to Rolling Greens to experience their succulent bar. The event was hosted by the lovely Victoria from SF Girl by Bay and we spent the evening drinking Kombucha cocktails and building succulent arrangements, which are the perfect plants for someone who fails as a┬áplant-owner applicant.

Rolling Greens is this darling little shop over on Beverly Blvd, full of home goods, beautifully designed ornaments for your kitchen, and some of the best interiors I’ve seen in LA. It’s fantastic and quite dreamy to walk through. With our cocktails in hand before the event began, we wandered through the shop, touring the space and lusting after the beautiful plates and hanging chandeliers.

We sat down to build our own succulents and were given options on plants and┬ásand colors. We were guided through the process of planting a succulent in a way that makes it easy to maintain- major perk for me. And I love mine! I’ve had him for a couple weeks now and he is fully alive and fully thriving. With a little water and a lot of sun, the beauties that we built are great additions to any home–plant friendly or not. And if you live in the LA area, do yourself a favor and wander through Rolling Greens to check out all of the living and equally beautiful non-living things that they have to offer.
