Women & Whiskies Wednesday

I recently got to bring some of my favorite LA women together, around a table, to enjoy some quality whiskey and one another’s company in conjunction with Women & Whiskies. W&W is a fantastic program started by Campari America that gathers women together to learn about and enjoy, you guessed it: whiskey! In the vain of my obsession with Whiskey Wednesdays (where I throw a dinner party centered around getting to know strangers through communal table questions over delicious food and drink), we pulled together a beautiful evening of crafted cocktails, intentional conversation, and Italian food.

One of the best things about Women & Whiskies is that it was created for women of all levels of whiskey connoisseurship. They love the education aspect of whiskey, and create evenings that inspire women to be more confident in a spirit that is traditionally marketed towards men. Their goal is to provide women with knowledge so they are comfortable and confident in tasting, talking about, and buying whiskey.

Throughout the magical evening held in downtown LA, we sipped on boulevardiers, ate some family style Italian bites, and chatted about the women in our lives who have influenced us.

If you’re interested in attending a Women & Whiskies event in LA, sign up for my newsletter to be kept in the loop about any upcoming events! We hope to do many more! Also- be on the lookout for a post about the boulevardier- one of my favorite whiskey cocktails. Recipe coming at you soon!
